Day 1 Hanoi - Babe lake
7.00 am You will be picked up early in the morning for the journey to Ba Be
national forest, a drive of approximately 150 miles (230 kilometers). Along the
way you will pause to visit a Tay minority community, the second largest ethnic
group in Vietnam after the Viets, mostly living off the cultivation of rice.
Arrive Ba Be in the late afternoon. Take the car to Hua Ma cave - the most
beautiful cave in Ba Be. Have dinner and overnight in Pac Ngoi Village, the hill
trible of Tay ethic minority.

Day 2: Ba Be Lake
After breakfast at the host family you board on our private boat for a cruise on
the Ba Be Lake. We can have a swim in crystal clear waters before having lunch
in the local restaurant near the Water Fall Dau Dang.
Following lunch we have the opportunity to work off our feast with a trek to Tay
ethnic minority villages. A visit to this small hamlet will enable us to witness
how little the lives of the people in these remote areas have changed. Cruise
further to Puong Cave and head back to Pac Ngoi village for overnight.

Day 3: Ba Be - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Cao Bang
07.30 After having breakfast, we depart for Cao Bang province, head to Ban Gioc
Waterfall in Trung Khanh district. Lunch at a local restaurant near the
waterfall. Relaxe while waiting for the guide to get the license at the
immigration office.Then visit the imposing Ban Gioc Waterfall - world's 4th
largest waterfall along a national border. On the way return to Cao Bang Town,
visit the amazing Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger cave).
Overnight: at Huong Sen hotel in Cao Bang
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Day 4: Cao Bang - Lang Son
Am: Transfer to Lang Son. Lunch at hotel.
Pm: Visit Tam Thanh cave, Nhi Thanh cave, Long Tien pagoda, Mac citadel. Dinner
and overnight in Lang Son.
Overnight: at Phu Quy hotel in Lang Son
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner
Day 5: Lang Son - Hanoi
07.30 Have breakfast at the hotel. 08.00 Drive back to Hanoi. Several stops on
the way to visit someminority villages (Nung people) and local market. Lunch in
Lang Son province and visit Dong Kinh market near the border gate with China.
Car back to Hanoi following National Road 1. Drop off at your hotel around
17.00. End of services.
